Could you make a solar cooker from.......?
....an old cooler? Just your typical, plastic cooler?
I don't have a spare one to experiment with, and wondered if anyone else had tried it. It seems to me like it would work perfectly if you put aluminum foil on the inside walls (just like with a "real" solar cooker) and used a piece of glass, plexiglass, or plastic for a top.
TIA!
Lisa
Gratitude.

I would say yes, too, because I've seen plans where you take two cardboard boxes one inside the other and then "insulate" between the boxes with hay or newspaper.
I'd love to make one of these. My boss uses hers at least once a week during the summer.Stacey
