I think I read they're going up to 42 cents in May, if I remember correctly.
I will buy some before then, definitely. Not like we're earning anything on the money we've got in savings nowadays (thanks, Fed!).

Same here. I use about 10 stamps every six weeks when I send cards to my family and friends. Then once a month I mail my mortgage, but it is always sent priority mail with a delivery confirmation.

Another thing for me is I like the cute stamps. I always ask for the Disney stamps first. If those are not available I get another style that is cute or different. I like for my mail to have personality.

Yep! Seems like when I was a kid/young person, stamps went up every 10 years or so. The past few years, they increase it every few months (it seems).

Since online bill pay, I only use about 10 stamps a year. Thank goodness, that is just one more expense I don't mind crossing off my list. If I did use stamps more often I would be willing to stockpile.

I only use one or two stamps a month - if any. But I may pick up some just to avoid the hassle of adding the penny stamps, which I would also have to make a trip to the post office to get.

I need to buy a bunch b/c Gripey has to use them for billing purposes. I bought about 100 the other day but in a few days (on the first) I'll buy that many more and may do that once a month until it goes up.

We go through about 100 stamps a year, maybe just under. I was thinking We use 5 or 6 a month on average and then I send out: Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Halloween, Thank you and birthday cards. We might invest in some, we would only save a $1 a year though, if stamps only go up to 42 cents. I think I might get some now though and save them for when stamps go up to 60 or 80 cents a stamp. I'm thinking long term with these "Forever Stamps" .

I'll probably buy a couple books to use for the occasional bill. I don't use many, and I like to use the holiday stamps for friends/family correspondence.

That's exactly what the USPS gal said when I was in the post office the other day. She said to wait to use them. Great idea! Who know how much stamps will be in 5-10 years?

Me either. I rarely use stamps so it wouldn't benefit me.
But if you mail a lot I think the stamps are great and
it can't hurt having some on hand.

I pay all my bills online and go thru very few stamps......having said that, I just bought 200 them today.....I plan on buying more still......they will last me "forever" and I will happily use them when stamps are super expensive years from now.

I thought about doing this but then realized that I use one stamp a month MAYBE, aside from when I travel and send out a few postcards. But those are not Forever Stamps anyway.
