Default What can I do with beer?

My neighbor keeps making homebrew beer and sending some over to us. The problem is the only person in my house who drinks it is my husband and thats just once in a great while. So... What can I make out of it? Thus far I've made bread and I've put some on my lawn as fertilizer.

    Thanks ahead of time!

    Thanks for the sites.
The use for it for fertilizer is questionsable according to a few sites I've found but the beer was starting to take over my basement. I'm also still after 7 years of living in this house trying to get my grass to grow nicely. Got any tips for that?

I'm sure there is a more pc name for it. My aunt just always shoves a beer can up the rump of a little chicken and cooks on the grill. It's great.

Using beer in chili is good too!

You can use it to wash your hair, but I wouldn't advise going out right away!

Get a nice roast, brown it and put in the crockpot, season with some garlic powder and pepper, slice some onions, place on top of the roast. Pour in a can of beer and cook on high at least 6-8 hours until the beef is tender. This makes an incredible beef roast. We eat it with roasted potatoes and carrots then shred it for sanwiches, bbq and tacos. Yummy! You can put the leftovers in the freezer.

I use beer to cook with. Put a pork shoulder roast in the crockpot with a bottle of beer and cook for 5 or 6 hours. Very tasty, makes great pulled pork sandwiches.

LOL us too. We are in recovery and any alcohol gifts are given away, usually to DH's co-workers. No alcohol/drugs allowed in this house.

Use it in your garden to kill slugs that get on your plants.
Put in a shallow bowl set into the ground at ground level.
    Works like a charm.
Its good for some plants also

Also beer batter for fish or chicken.
