Need help!
How old can Bread flour get.

Well, that depends. Does it have weevils? Has it been stored in a freezer or air tight container?
It'll keep quite a while in the freezer or in an air tight container. Generally if there aren't weevils it should be useable.

It should keep a long time. They say the nutritional value goes down after just a month or two, but I've used flour that is more than a year old and it was fine.
speaking of weevils reminds me, my dad said that when he was young, it was common to have bugs in your flour...that's why people sifted their flour....to get rid of the bugs. So gross! I would rather toss it than eat bugs. He said on baking day it was his job to sift the bugs out so grandma could make bread.

Thank`s Ladies mine is in an air tight
5gal. bucket and mine is probably 2yrs.old.
I`ll have to look at it tommorrow.
