~I had to switch to Clinique Dramatically Different moisterizer a few years ago because Oil of Olay was no longer doing the trick. I have sensitive combination skin and it would dry out the dry parts and break out the oily ones, urg. I love Clinique! It's about $22 for the large pump botle but it lasts me 6 months. I also buy it on a bonus weekend and get a bag of free cosmetics which makes it a much better deal!~

Right now, Walmart's Equate brand of 'Cetaphil cream' in the tub.
Sounds to me like you could use something lighter, but you need to exfoliate the flaky stuff away. That will help. (Do it gently)
At Target and other places you can get a nn buff puff and sue whatever soap on it to buff the flakies off. They last a long time. I don't bother with store bought exfoliators.

Over a year ago I bought a small bottle of Baby Oil GEL. Let me tell you, I use the smallest "dot" of the stuff rub it into my hands, on my face, throat and then elbows and it does the job! It's not too greasy either when you use a very small amount. And FRUGAL?! I think I paid $1.99 for it over a year ago, and it looks like I barely used any of it from the bottle. This will last a very long time for me

Too funny, just the opposite for me!
I used Clinique Dramatically Diff. moisturizer for years when they used to give those little bottles in the free gifts, and LOVED it! One day it just started making me break out. I would stop for awhile and try it again, and would break out again, so I knew that is what it was. Now I use this cheapo Oil of Olay knockoff (Target brand) which is 4 oz. for a little over $4., and love it! It is oil free, has SPF 15 and works great.
P.S. Still love getting those free gifts too, when I buy my Clinique superpowder (my big splurge!)

I'm also a Clinique fan of many years but I would recommend the DDM GEL. The gel has a much lighter consistency than the regular moisture lotion, and I can usually even reapply when I need to without feeling greasy. And I also recommend picking that up when they have a GWP because the GWP's that Clinique have are pretty cool most of the time!
If you don't want to spring for Clinique, I think Neutrogena Oil Free with SPF 15 is the next best option.

I like Arbonne, but it's too expensive for me. Aside from that, the only OTC moisturizer I have found that doesn't make me break out or give me a rash is Clean & Clear Morning Glow (orange/white bottle) w/ 15SPF.

Aveeno Calming moisturizer and cleanser have changed my life. My skin is so sensitive and I got red patches constantly. The calming Aveeno stuff has given me back my face.

I get mine over the internet from a person that has a home business and everything she makes is top notch. THe ingredients she puts in it benefits your skin and if this was offered by a dept. store, they would sell it for well over a hundred because of their marketing and the ingredients in it. This is one of my slurges and I pay $49, it lasts me for 4 months and my skin has never looked better.

I use Cetaphil but am thinking about switching to Burt's Bees brand when I run out of the first. I am thinking that the less processed "stuff" I put on my face, the better.

I use the Biore Pore Minimizing moisturizer with sun protection. It smells soooo good, and it great on my oily skin.

I use vaseline in the winter months.
After I wash for the night, I plaster a layer on my feet, knees, hands and elbows. By the time I'm done there I can smooth some on my cheeks. I stay away from the chin and nose area so I don't clog up anything.
I don't usually put on my face during the day, since makeup doesn't really adhere well. But if it's a cold blustery day like we have here in NE... I'll put a thin layer on before I go out.
I also use it as chap stick.
For 99 cents....can't go wrong.
Except, I learned this year that "Petroleum" jelly is the by product of gasoline.
YIKES!! I didn't know!
But it works wonders to keep my skin soft.

My skin is super-dry. Oil of Olay works well for me, but I have to apply 2-3 times a day.

I use coconut oil (looks like shortening) on my body. I tried it on face but I broke out. So... I went back to my old standard.
I use Oil of Olay with 15 SPF. Twice a week I use the Garnier Fructis facial scrub.
I must be doing something right. A plastic surgeon just told me that my skin looks twenty years younger than my real age. (That's without any of his help, of course....)
