What can I make out of a huge bag of Big Marshmallows?
I have a big bag of large Marshmallows that nobody will eat here. I hate to throw them out. What can I make with them besides rice crispie treats?
TIA

I like to make something called popcorn cake. You melt the marshmallows with butter, just as you would for Rice Krispie treats. Then add popped, slightly buttered & salted popcorn and M & M's. (Make sure to not to add any unpopped kernels...ouch.) You can add nuts or other candies too, but I prefer M & M's only. You can add food coloring and mold it into shapes. We made a big orange pumpkin for fall, and a green Christmas tree with red and green M & M's for the holidays. Everyone just pulls a chunk off at a time...like a giant soft popcorn ball.

have you tried a google search? I did and all kinds of things came up using them in all kinds of yummy sounding treats.
I bet you can do craft projects with them too if they go stale

Here’s a treat from my house to yours.
Make some pie crust and roll it out about 5 inches round, coat the inside with cinnamon sugar.
Put a marshmallow in the middle and bunch up the top and bake till golden.
The marshmallow melts away.

Smores come to mind. Ice cream sundaes, chocolate syrup, nuts, cut up marshmallows and ice cream. Remember ambrosia (fruit salad and marshmallows), and other fruit salads, jello, with marshmallows in it when I was a kid. May need to cut marshmallows up. Hey, it is getting warmer so maybe just good old roasting them over a fire. I just bought some to put in hot chocolate. YYUUMM Just thought of a chocolate fondue, you could use marshmallows as a dipping item.
Have fun with them.

I am the worst at following exact recipes...I kind of do my own thing. I looked at allrecipes.com. I think the recipe titled Popcorn Cake II (submitted by Autumn Dossey) is close to what I do. Just be careful not to go overboard on the butter, because the M & M's won't stick.

Look up Mississippi Mud Cake on all recipes.com. Makes my mouth water just to think of it. (if you've never had it, try it, I promise if you love chocolate you will not be sorry).

I'd be roasting a few in the fireplace for sure...
also making ambrosia with mandrin oranges.....
after I ate my fill and sick of them, I'd cut them into interesting shapes and make ink stamps out of them...
if your bag is big enough, might be cool to fill a pillowcase with them and then sew it up...
bet it feels good and smells good too... not for long term but just to use them before tossing any unused mellows.
