Gevalia coffee
I see these offers for a free coffee maker just for trying Gevalia coffee. Has anyone ever tried it and got the free coffee maker? It says you can cancel at anytime. Did you have any trouble when you went to cancel?

I did it, had no trouble when I canceled it. I didn't like the coffee, we got the preground stuff because I don't have a coffee grinder, it was ground very fine, and for what ever reason I couldn't make a pot of coffee without grounds in it. The coffee pot was pretty, but within 2 months we had water leaking out of the bottom.

~We paid $15 for the coffee and got the coffee maker free. We didn't like the coffee either. Cancelling was easy and our coffee pot is still going strong a year and a half later! If you do decide to get this it takes cone filters, which CAN be pricey. I get mine at Walgreens when they go on sale for $1 pack.~

We've gotten a free carafe and coffee maker from Gevalia. This is the only coffee that DH will drink. I like it myself but may drink only 10 cups a year. We've never had trouble canceling, and after you've been cancelled for 6 months or so they'll send you another free offer to get you re-subscribed. Like nuisance 26 said, the cone filters can be pricey but I just get them on sale. I wouldn't recommend using regular filters, we ALWAYS made a mess and had grounds when we used those.

If you make a great deal of coffee, consider buying a permanent coffee filter. They sell them at Target for about $7 and are worth every penny!
I personally love Gevalia's Choc Rasperry coffee! Never signed up, just got coffee from DH's co-worker.

We're still using the free Gevalia coffee maker we got a couple of years ago. We had no problems canceling. I don't remember if we liked the coffee or not.
How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

We've belonged a few times. The coffee is expensive and we liked the flavors we chose, but consider it a luxury now. I almost always buy coffee beans at a discount grocery now. We grind it very, very fine and it goes further.

Love the coffee, can't afford to do it all the time. Got the carafe and the coffee maker. The coffee maker's heating element went out after about a year or so. Cancelling was no problem.

I've taken their offer twice and never had a problem. The coffee was good, but pricey. Cancelling was not a problem. I got a thermal carafe the first time which was awesome and still works great. The second time I got a coffee maker that drips into a thermal carafe and it still works great.

I don't mind their coffee. The last time I signed up it was for the pod machine but I didn't like it at ALL so I cancelled with no problems. About a month later they did a sales call, I told them what I didn't like about the pod and they offered to let me do another offer right then to make up for it.
