quilting -- over a comforter?
A year ago I bought DD a comforter from Ikea... it's thin but VERY warm. It is suppose to have a coverlet... but she can't manage to keep it on...
I thought about making a quilt 'top' and using the comforter as the stuffing and back... but not sure how I would sew it together.
Oh wise and clever quilters...
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just baste the top to the comfortor and quilt it - then bind as usual.....
