    Question How many?

Just thinking about this for myself and wondering about the rest of you.

If you made quilts with just the fabric you have on hand (lets say you have the batting) how many quilts could you make? They might not be pretty, cuz not all the fabric goes together but I bet I could make around 6 or 7 complete (if i had the batting)

Wow! Let's see...I'm guessing 4-5. My fabric stash is small cause I don't have a lot of storage space.

Hmm not many...maybe one or two. I am just starting my stash. Of course all of this depends on how big the quilts would be.

Now you would have to ask and I need to answer. Yikes. Let just say I have enough material in my sewing room that I could make quilts for the next 5 years and never have to buy any.

Lets see, that means I could probably make about 10 quilts per year for the next 5 years and have material left over.

I just bought some more material. Does that count?

Diana, I'm so glad you posted that. I was afraid I was the only one who had hoards of quilting material.

CJ - I have all different kinds of fabric. The majority is cotton, but I also have upolstry and decor fabric, knits, sweatshirt fleece, artic fleece, lingerie fabric, flannels, suiting etc...etc.... You name it, and I have it. It is rather embarassing, because I haven't been sewing much lately and I miss it!
