    I like that too, but would also use different colors. I am thinking something christmas would be great.

    Some one want to tell me why they cut the strips, then sew them? Seems like it would be less time consuming to cut LONG strips ( of the blue), sew to LONG strips (of the yellow) and then cut to size. Or am I seeing it wrong?

    Looks like a good easy pattern for me to try. And thanks so much for the tip on sewing long strips & then cutting.
    (can you tell i'm a newbie quilter? LOL)

    and totally agree they coulda picked "nicer" colors for the diagram... OUCH!

    Heh, this quilting store is in my area and I love the people who own it. They are wonderful and have donated a number of pieces of material for my baby quilts that I make for the north.
