    Default Woohoo!!! I found the first book in the series!!

    Yesterday I went to the library and found out that another branch had the first book in the Elm Creek Series- "The Quilter's Apprentice". I ran right over and picked it up. I started it last night and it is very good!!!

    I read the whole series also and loved them. She is an excellant writer and now has a book just with quilt projects from this series. Can hardly wait to get my hands on it.

    Well, my library system did a number on me. I thought I had the first book to pick up yesterday - I got home with it and found out it's the second book - the library has them mislabeled in their computer system. *sigh*

    I read them all too--you're going to love it. The first one was very light reading. I think they get better as you go further into the series.

    Michelle, I agree. If it had just been the first book, it would have been okay, BUT as the series begin to come out, it just got better and better.
