help
I need large quilt block ideas. Do you have any ideas? I will be making quilts36X36 for a city nursing home. I have some with larger center's and I plan 9 patches. I have a couple of stars any thing else any one can think of?
Thanks.

What about strips? You sew strips of material together and then you cut out your blocks from the "striped" material. It looks cook if you cut the "stripes" out when they are on a slant. You could do some straight and some slanted.

I do string blocks for charity. It helps use up my scraps and they are quick and easy to assemble. I'm part of an online group called "Heartstrings". Here is the website and we also have a Yahoo Group.

The rail fence pattern goes up quickly. One of my favorites is the Warm Wishes pattern. http://quiltmaker.com/patterns/patt4/#quilttop
