    Exclamation Help with parallelograms, please!

Does anyone have any tricks for sewing parallelograms? I've started a baby quilt that is ALL parallelograms.....before I figured out how this is all on the bias, and how am I ever going to keep it from getting wonky???

It's from the Fons and Porter Baby Quilts magazine, currently on newstands. It's all 2 1/2 strips cut into parallelograms and rejoined in rows so it zig zags. Super cute, but I'm having trouble with the *ears* or tags where you have to offset them to sew??? How do I keep them perfectly aligned so my rows stay straight. (it's kind of like just joining binding)

    Anybody??
