Missing my quilting

I've been so busy with craft sales these past few weeks I haven't even been in my sewing room and really am missing my quilting. I was thinking of going up there tonight, but here I am on the net.

Are any of you quilting right now or are you caught up in Christmas?

i am so busy trying to get this stuff done for the craft fair that i am not sure i am going to i want to start quilting maybe next week.

I'm feeling behind. I'm trying to get the house stuff done, painting and wallpapering and cleaning. My deadline for that is ASAP and definitely before Christmas. But i've had some unexpected family stuff come up last week, and I may have to deal with it some more in the next few weeks so it may get delayed after Christmas.

hope not, I want to do this before my energy runs out. And I don't want to be coping with the clutter of Christmas along with painting and wallpaper clutter.

I'm missing it too. I'm caught up in the holiday stuff and have had to put it aside for now. My oldest is coming home from college tomorrow, and that will make things even busier around here!

We had our livingroom floor sanded a few weeks ago and decided since all the furniture is out we should paint. The border in the room was a nightmare to remove. I think they used a hot glue gun in places!!!! The colour of paint was chose didn't match the sofas so now I'm doing upholestry which I've never done before. I am not enjoying it. Funny how one thing leds to another. All this has to be done in 9 days for my Christmas dinner party!!!

Therefore I have FORBIDDEN myself to even think about quilting. I know once I pick it up I won't be able to put it down easily.
Yes CJ I miss my quilting too.
