Nope. Peanut has never seen that kind of quilt. But it is intrigueing, isn't it?

Just finished going back in the thread and looking at all the photos from the quilt show. Amazing work! Great stuff! Lots of inspiration there...

Got a couple blocks on the Kalid. done....think I like the corners but might have to scan it in here and see what you think....still deciding (besides, haven't gotten back to sew more on it!)

I had hoped to zip this right up.......WRONG!

Love the details in all of the quilts - but especially in the calla lily - there are even shadows under the petals!! Wow - wonder how long these quilts took to applique and then quilt - just lovely. Mahalo again for sharing FF!!

Wow, those quilts are beautiful! Such detail. I like the country quilt and the variation of the fan quilt is really neat. Thanks FF!

Fascinating combo of applique and log cabin in the large quilt! Phenomenal colour in it too. Thanks for posting!

Thanks gang.......glad you are enjoying them.

Even looking at these pics again....the talent never ceases to amaze me....and the TIME SPENT....just incredible.

I have never been a 'huge fan' of the fan quilt.....meaning, I have seen quilts that I liked but I have never had much interest in making one myself. After seeing MANY variations on this quilt at the show I am now starting to reconsider.

Forgot to mention.....on the fan quilt in the pics....the prairie points (I think they are called) are loose....not sewn down. It added a really neat dimension to it. And...not sure...but I think this is the one that also had RIBBON running along the fan sections.

Ribbon is what it looked like to me, but I wasn't sure - added a great effect, especially texture wise. See how you brighten our days FF, by posting more quilt pictures at raandom times? Love looking at them!! ..... even though I cannot take any more inspiration at this time!! Mahalo again FF!!
