~Thanks for starting the month, FF!
I pretty much completely failed getting the hand quilting done on the baby quilt. The baby is due in 5 weeks so I need to get moving!
I'm holding off doing any cutting of corduroy for ds's denim circle quilt until the baby quilt is done. Urg. I had been hoping to at least try to make the quilt for his birthday in late December but that seems impossible at this point.
What projects does everyone have on the agenda for December?~

I'm still handquilting my garden quilt and making blocks for the string quilt. Hope to get my great aunt's quilt basted this month.

I will just be continuing with my UFO's - AS USUAL!

I hope to have the kalidescope wrapped up by this weekend - at the latest. Have to allow more time since I have many interruptions this week - including groc. shopping.

Then I have two attic windows with the flowers already fussy cut but I have to cut all the frames so hope to get them done too. Have finally decided FOR SURE on the fabric so....just need time.

That will get the MAJOR portion of my UFO's out of the way - other than the Hip 2B Square one that I haven't finished cutting out yet. AND........the flannel rag quilt that isn't all cut out either - but would like to get them done this winter too.

Ok - am going to try for a few more pics......

If I can get the one called animal infirmary to post.....I will be thrilled. I have LOVED this quilt every time I see it (and see it at most every show!) and think it would be sooooo much fun to make......and I don't have any kids to sew for!!!...........BUT........you buy all the patterns SEPARATE (Amy Bradley) or the book with all of them in it is $25!!!! I DON'T THINK SO!!!

~Slow? I think the last few months may be the most active these two forums have been since I've been on FV.
You know I'm not busy with the holidays since our family doesn't observe them.
I've been sewing my normal amount, about 2-4 hours a week but neglecting my hand quilting. I'm just not making time for it and I really need to.
And since I promised myself not to touch the denim circle quilt until I finish the dalmatian quilt, my quilting is stalled. *sigh*~

nuisance - thanks you just reminded me of the bag of jeans I have sitting to be cut. Maybe that would make a fun game for the family to play who can cut the most squares and rectangles!!!

~Great idea Vicki! I wish I had gotten some help cutting out all my denim. My hand had a scissor grip indent/bruise for weeks. Ouch!~

Yeow - it's Friday and I didn't get as far as I was hoping on the quilt due to running errands and chasing sales this week.

Still hoping to get it done sometime over the weekend. About ready to put the borders on.........then on to the next one.

Been a while for me, but yesterday I started a "mini bow-tie quilt", okay so I only actually made 1 block, but I did cut out 3 more. LOL only 31 more blocks to go!
