Thanks again Debbie...I'll look into that one. I passed them the other day, but didn't stop to look. I'll make it a priority now...

Rabelgirls - love that you bought 3 magazines about quilting - you are really jumping in!! Cannot wait to see what you do first!!

tonight I am going to pull all the square patterns and fabric and get set to cut tomorrow - too tired to use scissors tonight!!

Quilting doesn't take anything but a basic machine RG - so don't worry about it. In fact, might even look on Craigslist...ours has had quite a few lately. Might be best to take someone with you that knows how to sew so they can use it and make sure it works okay. You can find a good basic machine, new, for under $100.

Sewing a straight 1/4 seam is the most important thing. A fancy machine won't make a good quilt if you can't do that!!

Okay here is the second block that was paper piecing. I learned alot from it and had to rip it apart a few times! It isn't as straight as the last one but again, it is okay. This is taking some time to learn and I am sure I will make lots of mistakes. At least I have started.

FF might put the pictures on - I would intend to and then something or 20 would come up. I think that you are safe DC!!

BTW DC - love the paper piecing square - Looks very fresh and neat!!

For anyone else who's copying the 12 Days of Redwork free quilt patterns, they are all available not. I have mine and am still string to find a transfer pencil so I can get started.
