    Mahalo for starting us up FF!!

    I really want to finish the yellow/peach quilt that I started last year in the 'quilt square a week challenge' - only for me it was 'quilt square a month'!!

    And this reminds me that I need to write down the other squares that I want to add to it. Think I'll be writing down a lot of reminders this year!!

    Oh! I want in! I really don't know how to quilt at all! I want to learn to make some basic squares and be able to assemble them. Anyone have any links to some free, very basic patterns? I would very much appreciate it!

    I would love to learn to quilt. Maybe we can have some lessons in here for newbies. I would love to join this challenge as soon as I learn how to quilt.

    I'm in and want to work on a nine block quilt. This will be the first time with triangles so it is a little intimidating. Hopefully I will finish the top by the end of the month.

    Welcome new quilters! I learned to quilt by the just do it method. Cut out squares ....... lots of squares, then started sewing them together in rows, then sew row to row. Now the real secret is you gotta sew straight even seams!

    I'd check out some books from the library or go on you tube to see the process.

    Practice those straight 1/4 inch seams!!!

    I am so in, this month will be working on my grand baby's quilt. Have it started............

    Plus our son-in-law wants me to make him one in pink and brown so when he has the baby, they will have their "own" special quilt.
