Question Do you wash your fabric as soon as you bring it home?

Or do you wash it as you need it? I usually wash it right away so it will be ready when I need it for something. I did buy some FQ's at Joann's last weekend though and didn't wash them until today when I needed them

    How about you?

I wait. I have read several conflicting views. Most suggest washing it and ironing it. Not sure what I will do yet.

Wash, iron, and put away till I need it. So when I am ready to use it I don't have to wait to do that.

I usually wash it when I have a full load of like colors of new fabric. I iron before using always!
