Beautiful window into the garden!! I knew what the title meant as I have made a couple of AW quilts. One was like yours, with a different square in each block. The other one had different colors for the sashing (window pieces) and all the squares were a navy print with tiny white stars (night sky). WOW, it was amazing how different they were. Wish I had taken a pic of the second one.

I 'fussy cut' enough prints to make another one......but will make it smaller and make a table runner with some of the prints.

I am 'pretty good' about taking pics of my quilts........I am NOT good about doing backup on my computer. But I am 'pretty good' about keeping current with my 'quilt journal'.........try not to get too far behind.

Think the squares ended up about 12 1/2"........the 'fussy cut' squares were 9 1/2".

Ended up putting an extra row on it, so it is LONG........ended up roughly 80 something inches by about 100"........or just over.......long but not really wide. (as you can tell, I couldn't get all of it in the pic...would have been in my closet!!)

Came back to check this out again - think I'd like to do one of these as a wall hanging. Mahalo for the inspiration!!

Can't wait to see it MM. Have fun!

Word of advice: pick your 'framing fabric' CAREFULLY..........that is where mine is messy.......a little bit.........."the book says".....if you have mainly light colored floral fabrics (or whatever you frame---doesn't have to be florals---can even be pics)----pick a dark fabric. If you have mainly dark colored 'framing items'---pick a lighter framing fabric................notice on mine how some show up better......this reasoning is why!! I had both!
