Thumbs up WOOHOO guess who has FQ's?

Hubby took me to JoAnns. There was so many people in line to get fabric cut, I couldn't stand for an hour. I was looking at the FQ they were $1.29 each. I got to looking and seen that Qulters blocks were the same things as FQ for size. I had a 50% coupon and bought a wooden long crate that has 15 FQ ref. price of $29.99 so it was $15.00. They had several crates that they called a Qulters Palette. Mine has the spectrum of blues, greens, red, browns and purples. IT looks so pretty I hate the thought of taking any out of it. lol........I can see how FQ are addicting.
    Also bought a seamwripper/theader too.
CJ hubby thinks your a little off, lol, wanting to know why I need sandpaper for quilting. He loves ya still though.
OFF THE SUBJECT Of quilting, but did buy some pretty purple Light and Lofty from Red Heart yarn to crochet a scarf for dd. Am in a crafting mood.
I didn't get a yellow.........FQ, can you tell me if I need it ASAP or can I wait a few weeks.

Kindred - way to go. I knew I'd get you hooked yet!!

No you won't need the yellow one just at the beginning.

The sandpaper, you'll need pretty quickly. Its for one of those tricks you learn but would never think of until someone told you about it. I'm forever thankful I had a good teacher who shared some really neat tips with us in my second quilting course.

Cj- that is exactly why I signed up for the quilting tutorial. Although I've made a quilt before, I am totally self taught, and I bet there are lots of tips out there that I don't know about. I'm very excited for the tutorial to start!

We have plenty of sandpaper, is there a certain grit we need or will any work?
I wish they had shorter lines, as I had saw so much material I would have loved to buy. Flannel was $2 a yard and I wanted to make dd something. Oh well next time I will have to bring my wheelchair for something to wait it while they have only one or two cutters.........LOTS of people said they were losing money as they weren't going to stand in that long of a line.
