    Talking For those doing the quilting tutorial - please read

    As a small bonus for all of you, the 4th block we will be making will be the jar block. Because of its size, we will not be putting it into our quilt/wall hanging but you will at least have made a block with the instructions and pictures and if at a later date you want to make one of those quilts you can.

    I'm cutting the material tonight, will start the pictures tomorrow and when I send the 3rd block pictures I'll send the jar block pictures to Sara.

    Anyone want to do that?

    I still have not cut the edges with my rotary tool. I am falling behind. My big plan now is to do nothing but quilting on MLK Day! This school is HARD!!! There is SO much reading!!! I'll just have to work out a schedule or the ME part, how am I ever going to become a great Quilter at this rate!!!???

    Don't feel bad Robin! You are not behind. CJ said we can work at our own pace! Just do what you have time for! {hugs}

    P.S. I am not started yet either. I have changed my mind on a couple of the FQ's and want some lighter ones. (I have mostly dark/mediums and after looking at them I want a really light one for this block!) I haven't made it to the quilt store yet. Maybe tomorrow? LOL

    Please don't panic everyone. I'm going slow and remember, you can all go at your own pace. The tutorials will remain there and has you can do them, then thats fine.

    When you have questions, just ask at any time and I'll answer them.

    Don't give up ladies - I know you can all do this, no matter how long it takes.

    Had a thought, I am going to use all the FQ I got in my crate, as you said you are only going to post for a small quilt. THat way I can make a Queen one just making more blocks with the patterns that I already know. Just wanted to share that with you.
    BTW i am thinkiing i am going to use black sashing so it will look more like an Amish quilt.

    I love the idea of black Kindred, I bought so many vivid colors and that would be a nice way to really make them stand out. I used to crochet alot. The best afghan I ever made was with bright scraps and black in between each row.
