Thumbs up Had the most wonderful time at a quilting class on Wed. night

I was invited to a quilting class for free on Wed. nights for the next few months and were doing the Tumbling Blocks. What a great time we had.

There were 14 women (from a town under 200 people) and I took my quilt that I have posted in a thread here (the challenge one) and they were awe struck with it. There were 2 professional quilters there and they couldn't believe it was machine applique. They all thought it was done by hand. Sure did make me feel good.

The lady I'm going with hasn't quilted ever, so I was working with her. She said she had her own professional teacher!! I just chuckled!!

I'm looking forward to getting together with quilters and having fun. There was a mixture of young, middle age and older ladies there and each brought 3 different colors for the tumbling blocks. It was amazing to see the different colors everyone picked.

The lady who is teaching is has a quilting machine to die for. Her dh made it for her and she is the envy of all the quilters, me included.
