    Exclamation Wonderful new quilting rulers

Since beginning my quilting almost 15 years ago, I've always been partial to Omnigard rulers, in fact thats all I have.

But at the quilting class on Wed. the teacher had a ruler called Easy rule by Sharon Hultgren and I'm sold!!! I purchased the 6 inch by 12 ruler and love it and when I have the money, plan on purchasing all her rulers.

First, the ruler is clear hard plastic and you can see through better than the yellow Omnigard. Second, the 3/8, 5/8 and 7/8ths are all clearly marked which is absolutely wonderful. You often use these for the cutting of squares to cut triangles and when using the Omnigard your always having to count the 8ths and remember where they are. On the Easy rule, they are clearly marked.

The 45 and 60 degree angle are clearly marked and very easy to use.

She has many different sizes of rulers from the size I purchased, to triangles to 6 x 24 inch. The only one I didn't see was the 15 x 15 and that might be because they weren't in stock.

Walmart sells them for a very reasonable rate!! A MUST HAVE in my books!!

I am so glad you found one that you really like.

oh i don't know what kind of ruler i have but it is clear, very clearly marked and the lines are raised on the back so that it will hold the fabric in place. it is really a nice ruler, *and the only one that they had at Ben Franklin's*

One neat thing is that they are way below the cost of the Omnigard rulers and can be purchased at Walmart. I paid 1/2 the price for the new ruler than I did for the Omnigard years ago!!!

I will definitely check this out! Math is NOT my strong point! Neither is remembering where things are on my ruler in the middle of a project. lol
