Made some more blocks today!**Updated 1-18**
I finally decided to make my block for the tutorial, so I went ahead and made a couple more for my Mom's too.
The first one is the Churn Dash~~ Dee ~~

And this one is called Four Patch.
Both patterns can be found at http://www.quickquilts.com under "Blocks" although I liked CJ's color combination better for the Churn Dash so I used that instead of just 2 colors.~~ Dee ~~

Heh Diana, I just had to look at these again and I noticed your using yellow/gold!!! WTG - many quilters won't venture into yellows or golds.

CJ, you are right about yellow/gold giving a block "punch". I hope it isn't too over powering in the churn dash, but when everything is together it should be okay, (I hope!

I cut out 4 more blocks today, but only completed this one. It is called Glitter Glitter. I almost trashed it, I got so frustrated, but I didn't give up!

Great job! I have some neat little tips on doing the flying geese pattern as we get further into the tutorial.
Those colors are going really well together!!

Great CJ, as you can see I need help! I just looked at the pic and I am taking that block apart tomorrow and doing it over. I can't believe I posted it with wrinkles in the center block. I needs to be re-sewn!
