Talking I did it!!!! I finally finished the 9 Patch Variation...

With the exception of the log cabin quillow I made last summer, this is the first quilt block I've made. This is also only the second thing I've sewn since home economics class in 8th grade (where I got a D on placemats!!!)

Anyway, here it is...it's looking a bit wavey/bumpy because I took the picture on a pillow. If you knew how I struggled with this (even though I know you're all thinking how easy it is! LOL), you'd understand why I'm so proud.

I keep tapping dh on the shoulder and saying, "hey! I made this!". I feel sorry for him because it'll be even worse when I make something bigger LOL

Chelle, I've already told you, but I'm saying it again. I'm so very proud of you and in fact, my buttons are popping here.

I know how you've struggled with this and yet you never gave up. Your work is awesome and the colors are stunning.

One other thing, most quilters are afraid to use yellow. You've done it and the results are stunning. Good for you in stepping out and using yellow.

Now I know you can do the Churn Dash and I'm waiting to see the end results. If you need any help, pm me okay.

Thank you so much for sharing your block with all of us.

That looks so nice! Doesn't it feel great when you get something like that done and you can sit back and admire your own work?
