Thumbs up Got my Biblical Blocks quilting book today

Ooooh wow, some of those blocks are quite interesting. There are a number of insets (which I don't like) and applique around the outside of the quilt.

Now I have to decide what colors. What would you choose? They show the following colors:

    - blues and greens
    - reds and greens (Christmas colors)
    - green, blues, royal purples and silver
    - light greens, pinks and beiges
    - greens and beiges
    - greens and purples
    - yellows, golds and greens

Tough decision. I'm going to take my book to a couple quilting stores and see what colors we can come up with that I like.

Alright!!!! It arrived!! How many blocks are in the quilt? I don't know why but the green/blues/royal purples and silver popped into mind!! That's a good idea though to take your book to some quilting shops!

Heather, now if I could only decide what colors to use. I'm leaning towards blues and golds. I've never done a quilt in blues, although I have used a little blues in some of the quilts I've made.

I need to break out of the greens and burgundies!!

I think gold would look great with those blocks...it makes such a statement! And blues, you say you might use blue...hmmm......
