Thumbs up Check this project out by Thimbleberries

Tomorrow I'm ordering the first 2 blocks. I love this quilt and I love Thimbleberrie patterns and material and just overall love the instructions, etc.

Its a BOM and you get the material in the pkg, but you do the cutting and sewing.

That is so beautfiul CJ! Tell me...I know nothing about quilting....Do you buy the blocks all sewn and you assemble them together? or it is the patterns you order? Actually, I'm not too sure what you mean by *block*....

No Lucie, you purchase a pkg (block of the month). In each package is the instructions, along with the material cut in strips. You then need to cut out the pieces you need and sew them together.

The neat thing about buying it this way is that you get all the Thimbleberries material for the quilt, it doesn't cost as much as purchasing all the material at the once and you get the sashing and binding with your pkgs.

So I'll purchase a pkg, get it in the mail and then I'll do the cutting of pieces (squares, triangles, etc.) and then sew it according to the instructions. Lynnette Jensen is the owner of Thimbleberries and her instructions are awesome. Theres no trying to figure out something, its all written in the instructions.
