Thumbs up Going to a quilting show tomorrow afternoon

As soon as dh gets home from work tomorrow morning, were off to a quilting show in Boissevain. I can hardly wait. Dd and I went last year and it was really great. I love going and getting color ideas on quilts and to see what others are making each year.

There will probably be about 75 quilts there and 1 that has gone all over the world. I've seen it already in the paper and its not one I like, but it will be nice to see it even so.

When was the last time you went to a quilt show?

Sounds like fun! Have a great time~! The last time I was at a quilt show was 4 years ago, right before we moved here. In the next town over they had an annual quilt show, I just loved it!

Oh Dee, if you get a chance to go to one, try to make it. They are wonderful and often they have venders there selling their stuff, like fat quarters.

This one won't because its put on by a quilter's guild, but I enjoy both. Well worth it!!

Wow I'm surprised there are at least 2 of you who haven't gone to quilting shows. Michelle, you'd love them.

Probably the best thing I like about them is learning about color. When you see what some people put together, your in awe. When you see others, you wonder why they did that.

And with every quilting show I've gone to, the quilters are there to tell you about their work. Its great to meet other quilters.

You've got to find one to go to, you won't ever regret it.

Have a great time! I love them....

There is one in the next town over every year and I usually go. I love seeing all the quilts that people have made. My ob's office has some great old quilts hanging on their walls...its a whole lot better to look at than those ugly pictures doctors usually have in their offices...lol...
