Always make sure when quilting you have good lighting. If not, you'll see your colors as different than they truly are and your end result may not be what you thought it would be.

Lighting is very important, because colors tend to change if you don't have good lighting. A red can look completely different from outside to inside and again from poor lighting to good lighting.

This is one area I really have a problem with, because in my small room there is little light and no plug-ins. I'm looking at moving my sewing area once again so that I can have more lighting and more room.

Good tip CJ. I have also noticed that fabric and fq's look different under flourecent lights (store lights) and incandescent (home lamps) and natural light.
