Thumbs up Heather (Calico) and anyone else, check this out

First, Canadian fat quarters are larger than American!!! I didn't know that!!!

Scroll down a bit and see the fat quarter club for only $14.50 per month. 25% off if American. Usually any fat quarter clubs I've seen or belonged to were far more expensive than this.

Check out some of her material as well, ooolala!!

Michelle, because our material is measured in metres, it means that a metre is 39 inches, rather than a yard which is 36 inches.

So, fat quarters are a yard or a metre, cut in 4 squares. Many of the Canadian quilting stores measure a fat quarter according to 36 inches, when it actuality, it should be cut in metres, kwim.

Oh my, what are ya' doing to me!! I love her site and it is bookmarked for sure!! The material is beautiful, what to choose!!

It's nice to find Canadian sites. I was looking at her quilts, they are beautiful and yet CJ, I think you should have your own site with YOUR quilts on it!!

I was wondering why your FQ's were bigger than mine when we swapped. I'm glad that I didn't "stiff" you--I was kind of worried that I did.

Michelle, what bugs me is stores often cut fat quarters the same size as Americans, thus saving them material, which isn't right in my books. If I was to purchase fat quarters from Walmart, they are the smaller size. And even some quilting stores cut them the smaller size.
