Anyone read this quilting magazine

Quilting Arts - I've always said quilting was an art and this magazine proves it. It is very costly $7.50 (US), $10.00 (CDN) and I'm not sure if I'll purchase it again. BUT it does have some very interesting quilts.

Some of the topics are:

-painting faces
-quilts from Africa
-beaded roundels for embellishment
-silk screening made easy

Neat one! I haven't seen one but I checked where you can purchase them and they have it at a store about an hour from here.

I would love to see the quilts from Africa!

Heather, the quilts from Africa, ummm aren't what I expected at all. Just different, very different from ours. I don't suspect though that most Africans make their quilts the way they do in this magazine.

Ummmm both - you'd never imagine these to be quilts that most Africans make. Maybe they do, but these quilts are classified as "art". Check your pm Heather!!

Some are dark, some are very colorful and some are a bit of both!!
