    Default CJ, anyone?

My son needs a comforter or bedspread for his bed. I'd like to use up some of the various corduroy I have lying around. What would be a good pattern?

I've thought about just doing a brick layout with rectanges, or a 4 patch or Thousand Triangles.

I need something simple and quick to make, as he really wants to move soon. Thanks for any input.

Denise, you don't want to do the 1000 Triangles if you want something quick. I'm doing that pattern right now and its going to take me years.

I would do a 4 patch or even a rail fence, something very simple and yet quick. With a rail fence, you can sew strips, then just cut them into squares and lay out. Very quick, very simple and nice for a guy.

Thanks CJ- I never thought about Rail Fence pattern- that would be great! I've done the Thousand Trianangles with large triangles before and it works up pretty quick.
