    Default Gabe shocked me today...

...he bought me a sewing machine. I am in complete shock and am just bawling away. He came in and said it'll be here in 2 days for you and comes with a year of lessons. They'll even show me techniques and projects. woohoo

He actually thought I might not want it and needed to confirm the order. As if I might not want it. rofl I'm just starting out and haven't sewn a thing since highschool and am thrilled beyond words.

I wasn't expecting this and had shoved the thought of a machine off until who knows when.

I love that this shop lets you trade in your machine and upgrade at anytime, so if I find I want something different later...I can upgrade.

It'll be some time before I can actually SEW. lol I honestly do not know a thing about sewing.

So, hopefully....sometime in the future...I can actually join in on all the quilting and sewing fun.

I'm going to go to my crochet class early, so I can go look around. lol He bought it at the shop I take my crochet class at.

That Gabe is definitely a keeper, thats for sure.

Quilters - can't you just see Sara running after those fat quarters. Yup, I can see her getting a few here and a few there and over there. There going to be calling "Saaaarrrrrrraaaaaa".

Sara, you enjoy your machine. Have fun letting the creativity come out. I'm so very happy for you.

WHAT A BLESSING GABE IS and so is your new machine. Well! that is GOOD NEWS!!!!!

Ya gotta watch it with that CJ, first she gets you into quilting shoppes and you think it's a controllable thing, you know, you can manage it, a fat quarter here or there.

What is so insidious? That you even begin to KNOW what a "fat quarter" means. HMMMM

Then by the time they are calling your name,

ITS WAY TOO LATE FOR YOU!!!!!

What a lovely husband! You'll be making quilts and dressmaking up a storm before you know it.
I have a 20 year old sewing maching in my cupboard that hasn't been used since my sons were babies, and even then I only sewed straight lines with it. Hmmmm, maybe I could take one of the classes here!
Sara, if you take one of the classes, so will I. I'd hate to be the only non-sewer in the group.
