Question What price do you pay for quilting fat quarters?

The ones I ordered yesterday were $3.60 each. I have seen them has high as $4.95 here and a few times even $5.95.

I've never seen them below $2.50 here and when I see them that low, they are usually lower quality material.

What are your pices your paying for fat quarters. And for those who don't know what they are, they are 100%, cut into 18 x 22 inch pieces.

Except for the FQ club I belong to, I don't pay more than $1.29 each for them.

At Joann's they're $1.29, but on sale now for $.96. At the quilt shop they're $2.10.

I tend to pay between .96 and 1.29, either at Joanns or Walmart. Everynow and then I take my Joanns 50% off coupon and buy one of those big crates of fat quarters or a big pack. I think the crates (maybe 20 pieces) are around 19.00 and the fat packs (maybe 10 pieces) are 7.99, but I never buy them unless I get them 1/2 off.

They are $1.29 at JoAnn, but I try to get them when they are on sale for 88¢. They are $2.50 and up at quilt shops.

I did buy one of the packs of 10 (Christmas materials) from JoAnn before the holidays. They were reg. $9.99 and I used a 50% off coupon.

Holy Cow CJ....You pay $3.50 each? Wow!!! I thought I would look at JoAnn's & they had them for 99 cents each. They are usually $1.29 each....I thought this was expensive...lol...you can tell I am not a big quilter! I did buy 8 fq. & printed a pattern for placemats off the internet. I will let you know how I do.

    WooHoo, Go Mom Go!

Yep, $1.29 here too at JoAnn's. But I tend to buy a full yard or 1/2 yard of fabric and cut it myself most of the time.

I usually pay less than $1.50 around here. I have bought several of the packs from WalMart for $7.98 and been pleased with the quality of them. I do the same as Deed most of the time though. I purchase a yard of material that I like and cut my own out of it.

usually between .96 and 1.29 here.

But i generally buy a third or half yard of fabric and cut my own fq's from it. That way i can share. And i usually feel like i have more selection that way.
