    Default What type of thread do you use for your quilting?

    I use 100% cotton ONLY. I use Gutermann and sometimes Mettler. I will use Sulky if I'm doing applique.

    I WILL NOT use Coates. I find it very poor quality.

    When I'm hand quilting the completed quilt, I use Gutermann ONLY and its specifically made for hand quilting.

    I use Coates and haven't had any problems.

    Coates and Clark here too- all purpose for piecing, and either machine or hand quilting for the quilting part.
