    CJ,
How do I quilt this wallhanging - What I mean is on yours are you planning on using a template or free stitching it or what? Also what color of thread? I know your quilt is done in shades of blue and mine is in shades of green? One last one, what will you use for your border? (I think that's what you call it, the edging stuff).

Pat, in answer to your questions.

How do I quilt this wall hanging - because this is such a small wall hanging, I plan on machine stitching in the ditch, but only in the black. You can use invisible thread or black thread. So basically what your doing is sewing right next to the seams of each black strip.

What to use for a border - again, because this is such a small wall hanging, I don't plan on using a border. You don't want anything to take away from the spirals. You want your eye to focus on the spirals and not on a border or sashing.

[/b]What to use for binding[/b] - all you need to use for binding is black material, again not wanting to take away from the spirals.

The next mystery quilt, you will have borders, sashing and binding.

    Thanks CJ,
I agree with both of your ideas. Once I'm finished, I'm going to hang this one in my room as a reminder that I can do something if I hang in there long enough. I'm not ready to machine quilt yet, but I can stitch in the ditch by hand on something this small.
