Rotary Cutter Blade Question
How often do you have to replace your rotary cutter blade? My first one lasted a good while but this last one is getting dull awfully quick. I think I used the first one way more than I've used this one. Could I be doing something wrong? Any thoughts appreciated.

My last one seemed to wear out pretty quick too. I used it to cut denim for a ragged throw and I think that the heavy denim wore mine out quicker. I usually get several months use out of one though. I use a 45mm for most of my cutting.

Some blades do seem to last longer than others. When you see your material, after being cut isn't a really straight and smooth line, but kinda has ragged edges - its time then to get a new blade.
I've had some that have lasted quite a long time, others that seem like I have hardly made any cuts and they need replacing.
It also depends on what you've cut with your blade. If you've cut heavier material, like denim you won't get has long a use out of them.

There's some of these sharpeners on ebay for better than 1/2 price including shipping.
