    Default My parents anniversary gift.

    Well this is what I have been up to (besides taking care of my new baby ) the last few days. I'll move this thread into the quilting forum after I give them thier gift.

    I made them a quilt for the car when they go on trips. It is called 'Interlocking Chains'

    Nicky, Snowy, Olga, Ralphie, Sidney, Oliver, Fonz, Audra, Hoss, Peanut, Madeline, Tigger, Alice, Poppy,Teddy Bear, Mittens, Conan, Sherman, Trapper, Radar, Maxie, Annie, Rocky, Kali (AKA P.I.T.A), Jethro, Chewy Lewy, and Chance!

    Don't forget to do self examinations monthly and have regular mammograms!

    I also made a big tote bag to store it in or it can be used as a tote for when they go shopping. It is as big as a paper grocery bag.

    And here is the quilt in the bag. I made it large enough to also double as a seat cushion.

    Everything came out of my fabric stash except the backing for the quilt. I had big enough pieces here, I just didn't like them. But I did use my coupon at JoAnn's for the backing so cost was minimal!
