    Thumbs up And the 50¢ quilt is repaired and finished

    I found this quilt at a yard sale for 50¢. It needed repairing. The back has been taken off, the old batting thrown out and a new binding put on.

    The picture isn't quite centered, but I put it on the sewing machine and didn't want to take it off I liked it so much.

    I'm posting 2 pictures.

    Covering my treadle sewing machine. The cup you see is my $80 cup my mom bought me a few years back. Doesn't the quilt look neat here.

    Very nice. I have one that needs mending to, but am holding off for cooler weather here. Don't you just love the feeling that you are continuing with someone elses quilt. Kind of like a connection thru time.
