Question I'm going to the Joann's sale today...anyone need/want anything?

I'll be happy to ship to anyone (including my Canadian pals ) if there's something you'd like from there.

    They're having a sale 50% off of thread, $.99 Simplicity patterns, $1 FQ's, 40% off batting.

Lion Brand Homespun Yarn is on sale for $3.99, $2.99 for baby yarn.

Tons of other deals too...if you're looking for something in particular, plmk, and maybe it's on sale!

LMK if there's something you'd like. I'm going in about a half hour-hour, but I can always go back tomorrow too.

Chelle thanks for the wonderful offer - that is really sweet.

I'm going to pass this time, but next time I just might.

Any time CJ...I got some really good deals today and would love to share them with others. I was able to get black floral fabric for that second mystery quilt for only $1/yd.

I also got Guterman thread for only $1.xx per spool and Maxi Lock serger thread too.

I spent quite a bit, but I got a ton. I got almost 20 yd of fabric for $44. I resisted the FQ's though.

I went too Chelle! I got 4 yards of fabric for $4 and a crochet hook. I didn't have to go, but you know how it is.

    You did great!

Unfortunately sometimes I do know how it is LOL! I didn't *have* to go either, but I really wanted to!

I'm excited to get sewing with what I bought--just don't feel like washing the fabric!

Chelle You and my dd would do well. Not only doesn't she want to wash it, she doesn't want to sew with it.

What size was the Guterman thread? I pay $6.95 for 500 yds. I just might get you to get me some.

Twenty yards of material for $44.00. I almost fell of the floor when I read that.

Unfortunately I'm one who knows how it is too.

CJ, the 500 yd I got on sale for $2.42 and the 1000 yd for $3.62 (and they were 50% off, so double those prices for our regular prices).

The thread sells out quickly when they have these sales, so I can try to get you some, but I'm not sure if it will be gone by the time I get there.

    Do you want 100% cotton?

    LOL Darlene.

I bought some fabrics to make for work clothes for me. I'm thinking of returning to the work force either FT or PT, and I don't have much to wear.

I also bought some Sponge Bob fabrics to make the kids shirts out of (they were my most expensive purchase, but I had a 40% off coupon ).

The rest was just fabric at really good deals, and I bought it for future quilting projects

Chelle, yes 100% cotton and the 500 yard spools if they have it. Five spools would be great but don't make an extra trip just to get some. Maybe you can just phone and see if they have any. Thanks a bunch.

I'd like to put in an order for a sponge bob dress. I love him! j/k
Chelle, I want to tell you that I think you're lovely making this generous offer of picking up sale items for the other ladies. What an angel.

Awww shucks Bethany it's no big deal.

CJ--are you looking for any particular color? And if they don't have the 500 yd, do you want any other size?

Chelle, white if possible. If not then beige or light tan would be perfect.

Whoops I forgot, I don't think the 1000 yard spool will fit in my sewing machine, so only the 500.

Ok, I was able to get the thread, but they only had 100% cotton left in the 250 yd spools. I bought 5 white ones, and they were $1.69 each.

If you can't use them, cj, that's ok, I'll just have plenty stocked up for me.

PLMK if you want them, and I'll get them out to you as soon as I can.
