    Default Hand quilting class

Woohooo! I just went to a hand quilting class this morning at my LQS (local quilt shop). I have to practice alot, but I think I have the "rocking" technique down now!! I am so excited.

Also, our LQS is open for working on projects on Fridays. So we can use their big tables to pin when we are ready to put the quilt sandwich together. (great advantage for me since my table is not that big.

I mentioned the trouble I had with the log cabin block from CJ's tutorial and Ms Frieda (the owner and teacher of the "Tiny Stitches" class) said to bring it by and they could take a look at it and help me with it. Hopefully I can get going again on the sampler and get it done this fall/winter.

I am sooo excited. I knew I loved that place!! Can you tell I had fun?

Oh how neat! I would love to go to a class like that. I'm trying to teach myself and I just saw a quilt that a Guild finished for a lady and they have such tiny stiches and mine are Big, lol. Like you said, practice!
