    Default Just So you know...

I'm going to be starting my first quilt in January.

My sil is pregnant and I'm going to make a quilt for the baby. I'm going to buy squares (fat quarters), but I'm going to have the 4 center squares (hopefully) be a piece of material from something belonging to each of the four grandparents (two are deceased, so I will have to ask the other two if there is any clothing left...although dh's mother died when he was 6).

I'm going to be reading all of the tutorials and asking lots of questions, so bear with me, please! Also, please wish me luck!

Oooh Amy the quilt sounds wonderful. Now girl, watch it though when you get around those fat quarters. They are addicting as chocolate.

Can't wait to help you any way I can.

Another quilter in the making - love it!!

You are going to enjoy it Amy. That sounds like a wonderful project. I am sure your SIL will love it.

For the record, I think that fat quarters are almost more addictive. They are not fattening!
