Thumbs up Quilting group at Church new idea

Our Church ladies meet twice a month to make quilts for the sick etc.. Anyway alot of us can't come to the meetings for one reason or another. They came up with a great idea.

In the foyer of the Church is a table with a basket. In one gallon bags they have material cut out ready to be made into a block. Pattern is viewable, so you can pick the one you want to sew.

The bag I picked last week has enough for 6 blocks, very easy split rail . The rules are take as many bags as you want, but have them returned in two weeks. You sign out a bag # and then sign it back in.

Just thought I would pass along a great way to get more people involved in your groups.

That sounds like a good way to get more women involved and get more blocks too.
