Ughhhg, I hate Deadlines

I finished Dads lap quilt two days ago and need to embroider my name and his on it for his Birthday. His Birthday is Wednesday next week and I haven't started the names yet and I'm in Nevada and he's in Missouri. Yikes! It will fit in the $7.70 priority box but I need to mail it by Monday before 2:00 pm for it to get there by Wed.

So tomorrow, I will have to MAKE myself do the work.

I enjoy the quilting so much but really hate to do it for a specific time. Anyone else?

BTW, I'll take pics and get it posted by next week. It's so cute.

Carolyn I don't like deadlines either - for anything!! So when I'm quilting I try not to set a deadline. Every now and then one comes up and it usually becomes very frustrating for me. I can understand where your coming from.

Seems I always create deadlines though, I am a procrastinator and then I am always rushing to get something done.

I hate deadlines too, but I do create them as a goal for myself. The quilt I'm working on now does have a deadline because it's for a customer and she wants it by a specific date to give as a gift.
