Talking I have an new project.

I went to crochet class today. It is conveniently held in a yarn/fabric shop, lol.

I bought 4 panels (in one piece which means there are 8 pictures) of the most beautifull framed deer.

I'm going to use them to make a small quilt for my brother. I also found some gorgeous plaid flannel for the backing that matches. I didn't buy that today because I have to be so carefull with my money so will get that later. This should make up pretty fast since I'm not pieceing it.

I also found several fabrics that match that would make great borders to extend the size of the quilt.

Best part of it is ......... it only cost me $9.46 with my 10% class discount.

Love the price Carolyn! Sounds great and with minimal work you will *see* the results in no time!

I like how your crochet class was "conveniently" held in a fabric store!

So what all did you learn in crochet class??? Come on and tell please!

Awe, still learning how to change colors of yarn and count my rows correctly. I seem to do fine on one side but the other side always looks wierd. I'm working on a lengthwise afghan and I don't like doing all of that counting.

Started to learn to knit yesterday but my teacher wants me to use regular yarn instead of the fancy stuff first so will take some next week.

    Thanks for asking.
