Smile One down, 19 to go

I've started working on the quilt I'm making for our oldest dd's wedding. I finished one block yesterday, only have 19 to go.

She picked the colors out from my stash and I picked the design. I'm hoping I get it done by wedding day.

That's such a wonderfull gift CJ. I know your dd and her new hubby will treasure it. It's always fun to start a new quilt and especially when it's for a special gift.

What a wonderful gift of love. It will be finished on time I'm sure and each stitch will be filled with love. There couldn't be a better gift or a better way to start a life together.

Finally all 20 blocks are finished. I now have to put a border around each block and then quilt each block.

I've decided because I don't have the time to hand quilt the quilt, its just too large to use my machine to quilt the whole top. I'll quilt each block seperately. That way I can also use up pieces of batting along with pieces of material for the back instead of one big piece of material.
