Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! I bought some fabric!!!
Of course I fabric shopped while on vacation!
I had the opportunity to go to a Hobby Lobby (not one anywhere remotely near here ) and found some very cute fabrics....
- Debbie Mumm fabric... green background with moose, bears, ducks, geese, fish
- Debbie Mumm fabric - shades of dusty blue with moons and stars all over
- Debbie Mumm fabric - green background with kitty paw prints and lots of different kitties all over
- 4 different (matching) Kona Bay fabrics
All of these were on the clearance rack for $1.99/yd. Reg. price was $7.99/yd. for all. I got 18 yards of material in all.
Now I've got to get busy again!

The Debbie Mumm fabrics are all for ds (he selected them) and I will probably do something simple with them like a 9 Patch or just a basic quilt with a bunch of 4 inch squares sewn together with a solid color coordinating fabric.
The Kona cottons are for me and I have no clue what to do with them. The pattern on two of them is a fairly large floral so I am going to have to do some exploring to find a pattern that will really show the fabrics off.

K, did you finish the first quilt you were working on right before I left FM?

ROFL! Um........... no. I still have one block to go - I am going to get started on it as soon as I get everything put away from our trip. I found out recently that one of my neighbors used to quilt so she can show me how to do the borders (I am confused by the corners). If I could ever get enough money saved up to purchase a sewing machine (I have a whole $13.30 in my change jar towards purchasing one - LOL!) then I could whip out quilts in no time. I am a very slow hand-sewer.

You are a better woman than me.
I would never have started quilting if I hadn't had a machine.

Thank goodness for SUV's!
We did a lot of outlet shopping too - made the most of it while I was there.
