Does one need a reason to buy more....
You guessed it - fat quarters.
Well I found my reason today. Rain, rain and more rain. Water in the basement and more water coming in.
So I ended up with 50 more fq. The store is going out of business so I saved $100. I know I could have not bought any and saved even more. I'm blaming it on this rain. A girl needs a lift every now and then, right.
Then I purchased 100 spools of thread. I got them on sales too and saved $250.00. I may go back for more next month if she hasn't sold out completely. Not that I needed any however at the price I got them for, I couldn't pass up the bargain.
Along with that dd uses embroidery thread for making bracelets so I was able to purchase 20 at 1/2 price.

I would be dangerous in a store selling stuff for half-price. I can't pass up a bargain particularly when it comes to fabric. I have way more fabric than I need. You know what is sad? It's sad to see someone selling their grandmother's stash of fabric for pennies on the dollar. I have gotten a lot of fabric real cheap that way. People have failed to pass on the love of fabric arts to their children.
