Question Do you have a lot of quilting books?

I'm a sucker for quilting books. I love them, even though many of them have the exact same patterns, only different colors. I've been pretty good lately, however I have a ton of them.

I just started quilting and I have tons of books. I'm a total book person. I just started my quilt class on Monday, so I'm looking forward to using all of my books (and fabric) soon!

Michelle, what type of magazines do you have? Do you get them monthly?

I love McCalls however I really like the Australian quilting magazines too. Not sure if you can get those in the States. They have a couple different ones. Our new quilting store along with most quilting stores in Canada sell them.

I used to have a subscription to Quiltmaker. I also have a lot of my mother's old magazines: Quilters Newsletter, Quilt, McCall's, etc. I'd like to get Fons & Porter's new magazine, but I haven't been quilting for a while, so I may ask for that one for my birthday.

I am going to see if maybe F & P offer a sample issue. I'll report back if I find anything.

    Replied.

I have about 27 quilting books. Last week I was at the quilt shop and just for that day they had all their books on sale for 50 percent off but I didn't buy any. Didn't see any I wanted but Judy Martin is coming out with one in February called Scraps that I may have to get.
